Welcome to Style AI! We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, especially your face data, when you use our mobile application ("App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Face Data Policy (Important)
This section explicitly explains how we handle the facial images you upload for hairstyle simulation.
1.1 What We Collect
- Facial Images: We collect the photo you voluntarily upload to the App for the sole purpose of generating a hairstyle simulation.
- Face Characteristics: We process facial feature coordinates (e.g., eyes, nose, face contour) locally on your device to analyze photo quality.
1.2 How We Use Your Face Data
- Local Processing: Face detection and quality analysis (e.g., checking for optimal lighting and angles) are performed locally on your device using native operating system frameworks. This raw biometric data is processed instantly and is never transmitted to our servers.
- Cloud Processing: The facial image you upload is transmitted to our secure cloud environment solely to generate the requested AI hairstyle transformation.
1.3 Data Retention (No Storage Policy)
We strictly adhere to a "No Storage" policy for your face data.
- Stateless Processing: Your image is processed in temporary memory. We do not save, archive, or store your original photos or the generated images on any persistent storage (database, hard drive, etc.).
- Immediate Deletion: Both the original image and the generated result are permanently deleted from our server memory immediately after the service is rendered and the result is returned to your device.
- Retention Period: Effectively zero (0) seconds after processing.
1.4 Data Sharing
- We share your image data ONLY with trusted third-party AI service providers strictly for the purpose of image generation. These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and not to retain it.
- We DO NOT share, sell, or trade your face data with any other third parties, data brokers, or marketing firms.
- No Training: Your photos are NOT used to train or improve our AI models.
2. Account & Authentication
If you choose to link your account using Apple Sign-In, we may collect the following information based on your consent:
- User Identifier: A unique identifier provided by Apple to link your account.
- Email & Name: (Optional) Used to identify your account and restore your purchase history across devices.
We use this information solely to secure your account and restore your purchased credits (In-App Purchases) if you delete the app or switch devices. We do not use this information for marketing purposes.
3. Other Information We Collect
3.1 Usage Data
We may collect anonymous usage data (e.g., app crashes, feature usage frequency) to improve the stability and performance of the App. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
3.2 Transaction Data
All financial transactions are processed directly by Apple's payment system. We do not store or have access to your credit card information or billing details. We only store the receipt/transaction ID to verify your purchase and grant credits.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to provide our App's functionality, including:
- AI Image Generation Providers: For generating hairstyle transformations.
- Cloud & Authentication Services: For secure user authentication and backend infrastructure.
- Payment Processors: For processing payments and managing purchase history.
These third parties adhere to strict data protection standards and process data only as instructed by us to provide the service.
5. Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have full control over your data:
- Photos: Since we do not store your photos, there is no photo data to delete after the service is completed.
- Account Data: If you have linked your account, you can request the deletion of your account and all associated data (including credit balance) directly within the App's Settings menu.
